passportKITT — Terms of Use

By using passportKITT you agree to these terms. They're meant to be readable.

The service

passportKITT is a trip planning and in-trip companion app. It's provided as-is. We add and change features over time.

Your account and content

• You're responsible for what you put into the app and for keeping your sign-in secure.
• You keep ownership of your trip content. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, sync it between your devices, and share it with the companions you invite.
• Don't use passportKITT for anything unlawful, or to store content you don't have the right to store.
• If you invite a companion, you're responsible for having their agreement to share the trip's details with them.

Third-party information

Place details, opening hours, prices, flight status, weather and exchange rates come from third-party providers and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Always confirm the important things — gate numbers, check-in times, visa and entry requirements, ticket availability — with the airline, venue or official source. passportKITT is a planning aid, not an authority.

Free tier and Pro

The core of passportKITT is free. Some features (a second concurrent trip, budgets and expense splitting, live flight status, unlimited booking scans, offline maps, the photo journal) require a Pro subscription. Subscription pricing, billing and renewals are handled by the app store you bought through; their terms and refund rules apply.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but don't guarantee uptime. Because your data is stored on your device as well, the app keeps working offline if the backend is unavailable.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, passportKITT and its makers aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from reliance on third-party information in the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Ending

You can stop using passportKITT and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.

Changes

We'll note material changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the update.
