Website and beta sign-up notice

This notice covers passportkitt.app and the closed-beta sign-up form. The passportKITT app has its own Privacy Policy.

The short version

We don't use cookies, advertising or analytics on this website, and no third-party trackers.
If you ask for a beta place, we collect only what the form asks for, and use it only to review your request and contact you about the beta.
We don't sell or rent your details.

What the sign-up form collects

Your name, your email address, whether you use an Android phone or an iPhone, your country, and (if you choose to write it) a short note about the trip you are planning. Nothing else is asked, and we don't store your IP address or browser details with your request.

What we use it for

To review your request, to email you about the beta, and, if you are invited, to set you up as a tester. Each request is reviewed by hand.

When you send a request, we email a confirmation to the address you gave. Nothing else is sent to it until we write to you about the beta. If you would like your request removed, reply to that email.

Where it goes

Supabase stores your request in the same backend the app uses, hosted in Sydney, Australia. Only we can read it.
Resend delivers the email that tells us a new request has arrived, which includes the details you entered, and the confirmation email we send you.
Cloudflare hosts this website and, like any host, processes the technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and block abuse. We don't use them to identify you.

How long we keep it

Requests are kept until the closed beta ends, then deleted. If you are not invited, you can ask us to delete your request sooner. TBC: owner to confirm retention period

This site and your browser

If you use the light and dark toggle, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device and isn't a cookie.
